Why Snorkel?

Snorkeling (British spelling: snorkelling) is the practice of swimming on the surface of the water while equipped with a diving mask, swim-fins and a ‘J’ shaped tube called a snorkel.  This allows the snorkeler to observe the underwater scene for extended periods of time with relatively little effort. Salt water snorkeling is especially easy since the water is very buoyant. Snorkeling is a popular recreational activity, particularly at tropical resort destinations. (Credits: Wikipedia.com)
